As a Life, Accident and Health Insurance Agent, you will listen to our members, be their partner, and put their needs first to make sure they get the insurance coverage that will give them peace of mind. 

Some Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Meet with individuals to determine adequate need for life, accident or health insurance based on specific life situations
  • Promote products of carriers that have been identified as strategic partners or alliances.
  • Follow-up on leads to ensure growth of the book of business consistent with and in support of the strategic framework.
  • Obtain and follow up on information concerning underwriting, claims, pending business, etc. 
  • Keep abreast of trends and techniques pertinent to today’s life, accident and health insurance marketplace

Qualifications:

  • Carry an active life and health insurance license
  • College Degree required or equivalent military experience
  • Must possess a minimum of two to three years of successful sales experience.
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Capable of multi-tasking, staying organized and working independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, carrier rating software required.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and handle the pressure of sales quotas and performance goals.
  • Minimum of 2 years successful sales experience
  • Regular travel to and between Financial Centers and various appointments.
